Young Climbers Conquer Mount Everest (and a Mountain of a Challenge) for Charity!

In a truly inspiring display of teamwork and determination, three young climbing legends—Alf, Rory, and Oscar—have successfully reached the summit of their challenge: climbing the total height of Mount Everest!

With the incredible support of their families, friends, team members, and the wider climbing community at the Big Depot in Wythenshawe, these boys achieved their ambitious goal. The collective effort saw everyone from seasoned climbers to enthusiastic beginners contribute to the final tally, all in support of the North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity.

A huge shout-out goes to Alf, Rory, and Oscar for their relentless drive and determination. These three, with Alf and Rory as brothers and Oscar as their climbing buddy and classmate, were the driving force behind the event. Their passion for climbing and their commitment to the charity inspired everyone around them.

Special mention must also go to Ben Jones, who showed incredible stamina by completing 55 ascents on his own, contributing just under 10% of the total altitude!

While the climb is complete, there’s still time to help these legends reach their fundraising goal. You can sponsor them and show your support by visiting their JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/climbingeverest4nwpccc

The staff at the Big Depot were instrumental in the day’s success, providing invaluable support and encouragement. Their facility provided the perfect venue for this monumental achievement.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic effort!
