Our New Base
We Have a New Home: NWPCCC Signs Lease for First Charity Base in Warrington
We are delighted to share a major milestone in the history of the North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity.
After years of growth, development and support from our volunteers, donors, fundraisers and partner organisations, we have now signed the lease for our very first charity base.
From 1st August, we will begin moving into our new home at:
8 Asher Court, Lyncastle Way, Warrington, WA4 4ST
This is a huge step forward for the charity and an important moment for our future. For the first time, NWPCCC will have a dedicated operational base of its own, giving our volunteer team somewhere to store equipment, protect vehicles, train together, manage the charity and continue building a service that supports patients across the North West.
A New Home for Lifesaving Care
The North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity brings enhanced clinical care to seriously injured and critically unwell patients across the region. Our volunteer Doctors, Critical Care Paramedics, Advanced Paramedic Practitioners and Nurses respond when patients need care that goes beyond standard emergency treatment.
That care may be delivered at the roadside, in a home, at work, in public places or at major incidents. It often involves advanced skills, specialist equipment and rapid decision-making.
Until now, we have been incredibly fortunate to be supported by Sentinel Ambulance Service, who have housed us and helped us continue operating while the charity has grown. We remain extremely grateful for their generosity and support.
Securing our own base does not replace that gratitude. It builds on it.
This new property gives us the chance to create a permanent home for the charity, one that is designed around our needs, our volunteers and our patients.
Why Warrington Matters
Location is vital in pre-hospital critical care.
Our new base in Warrington places us closer to the centre of our operational patch, giving our team the ability to move north, east, south or west depending on where incidents occur.
That means better positioning, improved readiness and the potential to reach more patients across the North West.
For our charity, this is not just about having a building. It is about having the right starting point when time matters most.
What the New Base Will Allow Us to Do
Our new home at Asher Court gives us the foundation to grow safely and sustainably.
It will provide:
Indoor Vehicle Storage
Our vehicles carry our responders, advanced equipment and specialist clinical kit. Being able to store them indoors and out of the elements will improve security, protect the vehicles from weather damage and help keep them ready for deployment.
Equipment Storage
Specialist pre-hospital care requires a significant amount of equipment. Our new base will allow us to properly store, organise, check and maintain the kit our teams rely on.
This will support better governance, improved readiness and a more professional working environment for our volunteers.
Training Space
Training is central to safe, effective clinical care. The new base gives us space to run education sessions, clinical updates, simulation training and team development.
It also creates opportunities for future training events, collaboration with partners and the continued development of our volunteer clinicians.
Office and Administration Space
Behind every response is a huge amount of work. Governance, fundraising, finance, logistics, education, medicines management, equipment checks and volunteer coordination all need time and space.
Having a dedicated office area means we can run the charity more effectively and give our volunteer team a proper place to work.
Somewhere to Call Home
Perhaps most importantly, this gives NWPCCC somewhere to call home.
A place for volunteers to come together. A place to welcome supporters. A place to train, prepare and plan. A place that represents the charity, its people and the patients we serve.
We Are Starting With a Shell
Although signing the lease is a major milestone, the work is only just beginning.
We are starting with a shell and now need to turn the building into a fully functioning operational charity base.
That means we need help with practical items such as racking, cleaning supplies, kitchen essentials, office furniture, training equipment, storage solutions and the everyday items that will make the base usable from day one.
